I wanted to convey the feeling of entering the Pantheon in Rome, rather than describe the architecture itself.
Tourists approach the entry to the Pantheon with no idea what they are about to see. Most people are speechless when they enter. The building echoes with soft whispers of awe.
From the ground all the way to the Occulus in the roof it is quite simply the best preserved Roman architecture in existance today.
It is like stepping back in time 2000 years.
For visitors to the Pantheon it is like they have been transported through time and space into a strange new world…
