This is the BP bridge in Millennium Park. Millenium Park is in downtown Chicago. It was designed by the artist Frank Gehry. This bridge is 925-feet long and winds and turns like a snake. This is Frank Gehry’s first bridge. It allows you to view the Chicago skyline in a unique way. It also has a 5% slope to allow easy access for people who are physically challenged.
“Chicago, in my humble opinion, is, architecturally, the best American city traditionally and just visually. It’s so exciting.”
I never met Frank, but if I did, I think I would like him.
