Circle of Spirituality

Lake Falls in Matthiessen State Park is possibly the most magical, spiritual waterfall I have ever photographed. It is special and always blesses me with a wonderful spiritual feel to it. It inspires me to be religous in some way that I cannot explain.
The whirlpool is like God. He has no beginning and no end.

superbly composed image, I have a local water fall that I’ve been trying to capture recently but so far have not manged to get a decent composition, this image have given me some ideas Ill have to find a whirlpool!!!!.
    Great work very well done.
    Rich.

  • Adam Bykowski replied

Thanks Rich. appreciate the comment. It is not an easy thing to find. The water has to flow in a certain way from a certain angle. You have to stare at the water leaving the falls a long time to catch the pattern of how where it is going, I wish you luck.

  • Adam Bykowski replied

Cool! When I went to check the featured images in the group, I did not see my image. Then I clicked on the “Challenges” tab and found my image among the 9 others. I was not the winner, but in the top 10. I’m so happy and proud to have made it that far by getting enough votes to be top 10 in a challenge. That’s the closest I have ever come in a challenge so far. Thanks for the congratulations and heads up. Are you one of the hosts Carlie?

It’s a great place to walk around. Just plan on wet shoes. It is shallow, but water flows everywhere here and the path is basically a creek.
