I think June is the month of Green this year. We have received so much rain in northern Illinois, everything is lush and green all over.

Another excellent shot. Nice job with exposure. Looks like it was fairly dark in the lower left corner, yet just on the verge slight overexposure in the upper right corner. You captured them both quite well. This is probably a case where the gloomy weather probably played in your favor, eh? That, and cutting the comp. at just the right place on top to minimize how much backlighting showing on those upper plants. Nice work!!

Thanks so much John. Too bad you could not make it, This was the first canyon we hit and the light is always special in Ottawa Canyon. Maybe my Starved Rock images from Saturday (6/13/09) will convince you to go there with me next time we decide to go out.
