This shot of the Lockheed Martin – Fighting Falcon F-16 was taken while they were preforming exercises before the Global warming conference in Copenhagen 2009. They were in the air buzzing the city for 4 days running.

Nice one George! S:))
Thanks Sandra – I would have liked it a bit sharper but just trying to capture this at the speed they were doing I think I got a bit lucky :-))
Spot On!!! shot George. Have you seen my images from the Air Show, my first time trying to capture such speeds as this. Must be the new camera…Jules
Thank you Jules. I have seen them coming through the “Club” but haven’t had the time to come and comment… yet :-)) I will…
Not an easy task mate trying to capture on of these as they buzz past, but you did well with this one. A fav for me mate XXX
You’re so right my dear friend. I think the exercise was a full dress rehearsal so they were acting as if there was a war going on… Flat out and all over the place. Thanks for the Fav mate – Much appreciated :-))
An excellent capture, George! Beautiful POV!!
A little bit lucky Judy – He started the roll while I had him in focus LOLThanks for the Fav mate :-)
I would have loved to hear them roar!Great capture!
Thank yo Raoul – yeah the roar really was something – especially because there was two of them flying formation – twice the air show twice the thunder and they did it over and over and over for 4 days. Perhaps they were trying to give me the opportunity to get a good shot… LOL :-)))
Nice capture & composition bygeorge! :-))
Thanks my friend – A difficult one to get and I wish it had been better.
nice shot George, General Dynamics makes the F16
Yeah mate you’re right on about General Dynamics – but it was sold on to Lockheed Martin in 1992 or 93 I think. This shot was taken in Copenhagen. So it belongs to the Royal Danish Air Force and I suspect the would be the Lockheed Martin version.Let me know how you can tell which is which would you Mark.
ok george, im a bit out of date, i know the Norwegian F16 is the GD, it has the extended bit under the tail for parachute for icey landing. i’ll do a bit of research.
