Looks like a fun ride, wonder what the shocks are like….Jules
Yeah it could be a fun ride – but we only had a few hundred metres to walk home so it wasn’t worth it. Ha ha ha – no need for shocks in Copenhagen Jules – their roads are in great condition. Thanks for your comment :-)))
Marvellous moment, George. I like the spots of colour on the neutral concrete and blue t-shirt. Oh, and I might just qualify for an old fart even though I am only about ten at heart. (60+ will do it?)
Thanks Faul – yeah I thought the negative area need a bit of something so I gave it a couple of filters – they are the same filter overlaid twice and used in different ways to get that effect. Glad you like it :-)
For a second I thought you’d been to Edinburgh George. They have these there too. Quality shot love the rich colours!!
Oh mate is there really – I’ll have to save all my spare cash and come over there just to have a ride in one – Yeah right :-)))))Thanks for your comment mate :-)
Crikey does this guy want to be seen or what? Not what I would call a comfy ride. Well shot mate XXX
Yeah mate he did want to be seen – It’s how he makes a living so I guess the brighter he is the more work he get’s.I was waiting for him to ask me for money for taking his pic – Not likely – As far as I’m concerned if it’s on a public street it’s fair game LOL :-)))
Oh, and I forgot to ask. Is Copenhagen the real thing or another of those crazy place names of the Ausies like Didyabringabeeralong? (I could have looked on the website, of course)
Ha ha ha – Mate it took me 36 hours to fly to Copenhagen and that was in a Jet – So I’m guessing it is the real thing – As for Didyabringabeeralong I hadn’t heard of that but I have heard of Bongalong… never been there though LOL :-)))
Your cohosts Cee and Chris
Thanks Chris ;-)
Seriously George bike just like this get used in Edinburgh to ferry tourists up & down the Royal Mile & other popular tourist spots!!
That would be quite a haul wouldn’t it Robin – I’ve never been to Edinburgh but always thought it is quite hilly there.
We used to have something like this here in Melbourne, but a little diff looking.Ours had headlights and a few other things. Don’t see them anymore though, don’t know what happened to them. Just like all things, they come and go.Great shot George
Thanks mate! yeah I had heard they tried these things in Melbourne and I hear they are going to give them a go in Adelaide… We’re trialing a bike system here in Brissie but I don’t think they would go to well – no-one would want to ride them – we’re all too bloody lazy LOL :-)))
I think that’s why we don’t see them in Melb now, people didn’t ride on them much. They looked good while they lasted.Cheers.
Yeah mate they do look quite good. There was heaps of them in Copenhagen – but it’s a flat city so there is a hell of a lot of bikes anyway.
Thanks for visiting Gordon and the great comment :-)
