I started writing poetry at a very young age. I have always wanted to be a writer, a poet, anything that has to do with my love of the written language. I am very happy to say that I have received in this year alone, three editors choice awards, been nominated for poet fellows , a semi finalist for a ten thousand dollar prize for my poem Family ties, and am 30 voted away from a big prize on poetry.com.
