It is never easy to let a member of your family go, but sometimes it is the best thing
to do. Some of you have seen my picture, Dozer’s grin. Unfortunately, we have to let
him go as there is nothing we can do for him. It hurts to think that we are losing him
as we all love him so much and have had him since he was a puppy. This will be the
fourth dog that has been put down and it kills me every time. It is also sad to think
that we have six more dogs that we may have to do the same thing for in their old
ages. (My oldest, Taz, is nine.) I understand that death is a part of life, but I do not
think I will ever get used to it.
