2008 Reno Balloon Races
Was really nervous shooting my very first Time Lapse on the day of the Great Reno Balloon races this past sunday.
Bought a interval meter for my Camera the day before the shoot with only You tube and a few websites for some insight on how to make my first trial a bit more successful. Ofcourse it didn’t help either partying in Reno the night before instead of tinkering with my new remote!
It was an awesome experience as it is every year except for the lack of Balloons compared to last year. What made it really special was that this year I was able to bring my Family along even though I was stuck on the hillside away from them for over an hour shooting my time lapse sequence.

fantastic vid Ben, what program did you use to collate all those shots.
I wanted to use Quick Time Pro but all i had to work with for now was “Arc Soft Showbiz”. Thanks much for the comment John!

One thing that I missed earlier was watching the chase cars leaving. They looked like waves rippling through the sea of people. Again awesome job.
