It is offen suggestion here in “Oz” that when we have international visitors it is thought that they have expectations to see Kangaroo’s jumping down our suburban streets. Well truth is stranger than fiction as this actually does happen in the secluded seaside settlement of Toorbul in SE Queensland Australia. We like to go there to observe coastal bird life click but the added attraction of the “Roos” is a bonus for us, however, as mentioned in the hot link, “Be vigilant when driving along The Esplanade, as relatively tame kangaroos frequent the grassed areas by the side of the road and may stray into your path.”

Aww, beautiful mammal and such an appealing photo, Barbara. Do you have the similar “Moose Crossing” signs, except for the name change?
