Jacaranda trees in Queensland bloom in November (springtime) in New Farm Park Brisbane Australia.

Over the past couple of years some of Jacaranda trees have succumbed to age and have been dropping branches, a.dangerous occurrence for a child friendly park. I had been gong to this park since I was a child and now, after all these years, the trees are being replaced with younger and stronger plants. Earth to Earth, Ashes to Ashes the cycle of the blooms, the cycle of the trees of New Farm Park.

How did you manage to catch this in mid flight. I guess rapid shooting at 1/1000 would do it. Nice soft blur of colors in the background. Perfect.
Aw Barb …. you didn’t have to tell ;))) Literally a great catch!
I still had to be fast as it slid down the glass! B-))

Free fall, sort of a metaphor for the older trees giving way to younger ones. Well captured, Barbara. The color is brilliant, too.
Great title – I might use it some time?? Thanks for your comments on this series.

With pleasure, Barbara. Will keep my fingers crossed that you cross the pond or I cross over to your neck of the world before too long. :-))
Sounds good. B-)
