Seeing is Believing - American Bald Eagle by

A less formal pose of the American Bald Eagle. Deep in thought one could not help but wonder what is on his mind …???

There has been a recent ban on feeding the wild eagles of Homer. They now fend for themselves even if it’s at the expense of the sea gulls who leave their catch when these big birds fly in for their share however this guy looks like contemplating trimming time for those talons … ??

Great profile capture Barb, don’t you just love it when you capture them looking as if they are deep in thought or contemplating something, well done (just a little added info: the feedings took place only during the winter months from mid December to the end of March, during the rest of the year they are able to find food as the rivers are open and not frozen over). Take Care ~ Rick & Deb ~ :)
