Ancient Ruins of Steilacoom by

These ancient ruins are actually what is left of a old gravel pit that was started in 1945. A few years ago the land was aquired by Pierce County and turned into a pro class links style golf course and public park.

Image captured using a Nikon D-300 with a Sigma 10 to 20mm lens, processed with Photoshop and Silver FX pro.

About Bryan Peterson

My photographs are not always technically correct, I tend to break the rules but I do that knowing what the rules are and having a reason to do so. My photographic images are what and how I see the world around me in my minds eye—they are who I am.

    Beautiful.

  • Thanks Gail. I wonder what people will think of these structures long after the memories of the old gravel company buildings have faded away?
