On Your Tail by

Composit image made up of three photographs. Both aircraft images were of static display aircraft at the 2011 Olympia Air Show in Olympia, WA and the third is a stock image of clouds (I have taken a lot of those). All images captured with a Nikon D-300 and processed using Photoshop cs5.

About Bryan Peterson

My photographs are not always technically correct, I tend to break the rules but I do that knowing what the rules are and having a reason to do so. My photographic images are what and how I see the world around me in my minds eye—they are who I am.

Very well done Bryan. Excellent detail, like the prop blur !!!

  • Thanks Ian, I’m trying to pay attention to the details like prop blur and it really makes a difference in the final image.

Very nice composite, beyond perfect! It’s just like you really went flying and attached your camera to the plane!

  • Thanks Evan, I’ve been taking wing-walking to a new level. The wing-walking wasn’t bad but holding the camera steady in the wind was kind of tough.

I have always considered myself an artist that can’t draw. I create images using the camera as a tool to express what I see and feel. This process is fun in that I get to create an image from start to finish, there is nothing real about it expept what is floating around in my mind.
