The Townsend’s Warbler Dendroica townsendi is a small songbird ranging from 11 to 13 cm in length. This male is in his winter plumage, later this spring the the dark feathers on his head and chest will turn black and the yellow a little brighter. He is a very colorful bird but doesn’t sit still for very long so they can be a challenge to photograph.
