Canada Goose Branta canadensis often referred to locally as honkers because of their call. This bird was photographed at Titlow Park in Tacoma, Washington on December 30, 2010. The Canada Goose is the most common of the geese of North America with 11 different geographical races. They range in size from the smallest at about 56 cm in size up to the largest at 114 cm in size.
