The Herring Gull Larus argentatus can be a very majestic bird—but then there are other times! It took about 15 or 20 minutes but this seagull was abel to get the starfish swallowed. Photographed in Gig Harbor, Washington.

My photographs are not always technically correct, I tend to break the rules but I do that knowing what the rules are and having a reason to do so. My photographic images are what and how I see the world around me in my minds eye—they are who I am.

OMG! This is awesome! This is the close-up shot I wish I’d gotten when I shot a seagull with a starfish in it’s mouth. Fabulous!

  • Thanks DJ, I had to shoot this one; the look on the gulls face is so pathetic.
