Mount Rainier taken from the Silver Forest trail out of Sunrise on the northeast side of the mountain. The formation in the center of the image is known as Steamboat Prow, to the left of that is Emmons Glacier which is the headwaters of the White River. The top of the mountain is Columbia Crest with the rock formation to the left being Gibraltar Rock and then Little Tahoma Peak. The First Peoples name for Mount Rainier is Tahoma.
