My photographs are not always technically correct, I tend to break the rules but I do that knowing what the rules are and having a reason to do so. My photographic images are what and how I see the world around me in my minds eye—they are who I am.
nice capture…the puff of smoke from the rifle…
Thanks EvaMarie, timing is everything and catching this was pure luck and a lot of shots hoping to be lucky.

Looks like they’re shooting at you…LOL. Another great shot :-)
Long lenses are a good thing Tori—thanks for the nice comment.

Sometimes its better to be Lucky than Good…so “they say”…I perfer Good and Lucky… :) …and fast fingers! …great job! Cheers!
The harder I work the luckier I get.
OMG..had me duckin’!! LOL..Good one Bryan!! *-)
The advantage of being one of the re-enactors is the ability to be out on the battle field for shots like this. No real bullets but the charges are real and no direct firing towards the public is allowed for safety.
