Snoqualmie Falls, just below flood stage. The power of this water going over the falls cannot be captured in an image—but this is close. I used Jason Connolly’s tutorial on Orton Effect in processing this image. Taken at Snoqualmie Falls, Washington State, USA.

My photographs are not always technically correct, I tend to break the rules but I do that knowing what the rules are and having a reason to do so. My photographic images are what and how I see the world around me in my minds eye—they are who I am.

Really nice Bryan. I can feel the spray. And whatever the Orton Effect is you really put it to good use. The detail from front to back is so sharp and clear.

  • Thanks for the wonderful comments Lois.
