My photographs are not always technically correct, I tend to break the rules but I do that knowing what the rules are and having a reason to do so. My photographic images are what and how I see the world around me in my minds eye—they are who I am.

Its amazing how long the life of these battleships was. I saw the USS Wisconsin in the Persian Gulf in 1990 when I was the Aussie Navy.

Wonderful shot, over the years all of the Iowa class Battleships underwent refurbushing, and were refit in the 80’s as part of John Lehman’s 600 ship navy back in the Regan years

  • Thanks Ron, these ships were built to last.
