What a cute photo.. great detail and love the expression you have captured in those eyes.. I have watched them on the discovery channel and they are adorable.

Thanks Carol. These guys are really fun to photograph because of their expressions and they are also very busy which can create a challange in getting a sharp image.

As zoos go I feel it is one of the better ones in our area. I worked as a volunteer keeper for 7 years at Point Defiance getting to work with some amazing animals but the meerkats were not there at that time so I didn’t get to experience the challenge they must present due to their inquisitive nature and busy habbits. I mostly took care of the elephants which is an experience I will always cherish.
