Bryan, this is fantastic! I love the 3D effect that you have created in the foreground. Those bushes really jump out of you. Wonderful colors and clarity. Great Stuff, my friend!

  • Bryan Peterson replied

Thanks Sue, not always but sometimes a little post-processing really makes an image.

Awesome capture you have here Bryan, makes me want to head back to Arches, lovely effect , great composition, the addition of the tree is great, awesome depth, very well done

I’m ready to go back, stop into Gig Harbor on your way south and I’ll join you! The formations are so impressive my first impression was to capture them full frame but thank goodness my better judgement took over and I panned back to add perspective and depth—it made for a much more pleasant image.

The effect works well here Bryan. Great scene from foreground through to the back.

  • Bryan Peterson replied

Thanks Gail. It was hard not to just photograph the rock formation—it is so impressive. But I’m glad I took the time to make a composition and not just a photograph.
