Mig-17

Mig-17 by Bryan Peterson

Mig-17

I Captured this image at the McChord Air Expo 2008. My father was a fighter pilot assigned to the 318th Fighter Interceptor Squadron at McChord AFB in the late 40s and early 50s. It’s kind of strange to see a Mig parked on the tarmac where he used to park his aircraft. The hanger looks the same though.

Mig-17 belongs to the following groups:

Aeronautics & Aviation, Former DPF Members, NORTHWEST ARTISTS (U.S.), Pacific Northwest Art, United States and War

No proble John—from what I’ve been told Bryan is from the Welch and Brian is English. I bet my dad would have been very suprised to see this Mig at McChord AFB.
