High Tide in the Estuary

High Tide in the Estuary by Bryan Peterson

High Tide in the Estuary

This is an image of the estuary to McAllister Creek-part of the Nisqually National Wild Life Refuge located near Olympia, Washington, USA. This is a great spot for birding or just for a relaxing walk. The path around the refuge is 5 miles long and will take you anywhere from an hour or all day to traverse (it usually takes me half a day or more-too many photo opportunities.

This is definitely a great big WOW! I love this scene—-the timelessness of the composition, the stunning glass-like appearance of the water, the colours in the sky and the truly beautiful light. A wonderful image!!!!!
