I’m not agains abortion generally, but I had a very difficult birth, and after my daughter was brought to world with help of modern medicine I asked what happened in that situation years before… they told me, that they only could bring my child outside in pieces… (words they have used!)
this shocked me so much, that I was thinking about it very long…….........

im the ultimate hypocrit…ive had one and im against them…always have been as a personal choice anyhow. i had just had a pre,ature baby (at 24 weeks gestation..he was only 1 lb) and the drs told me if i were to keep the next one id have to stay on bed rest from 4 mos until delivery…which would have been impossible for me to do, i had to be at the hospital everyday for 6 mos while my son was in the NICU. i was devestated, and forever changed by my decision….i literally went insane afterwards. was catatonic and a i still havent gotten over it. i hated myself. however, whos to say it still wasnt the right decision? when it was done the ultrasound showed a tear in the sac…they tell me thias AFTER they take my money and preform the “operation” WITHOUT the gas i asked for…it was f*ckin horrendous…if i ever go crazy…i’ll go postal on those b!tches…they could have sent me home or to the E.R. i mean seriously, it was going to die anyways right? very shady people…very.

this is a really sad story…. and really taken from life! I feel really sorry for you dear! noone is allowed to say to you if it was right or not, or to forbid abortions generally! this is always a sad story and woman are going mad after this! they don’t need also sense of guilt!!! they suffer enough!!!

A soul wrenching decision for some, business as usual for others. We can’t all live with the same decisions, and have them made for us either… Abortion is not a good thing to do, but it is sometimes the only thing you can do that does not make matters worse…

Undeniably some of the darkest subject matter one can tackle. I commend you for doing so. I have been involved in a few abortions and the haunting effect is endless. As the male and not really having a say in the matter the experience seemed very hopeless and alien. I cannot imagine what it must put a mother through, for I have tried to no end. My art seems to get infected with the fetus image unexpectedly and I feel obligated to let it happen, but I just can’t come to terms with it. I feel guilt and a shameful selfishness, but at the same time I feel like the right decisions were made. I cannot help but be baffled and intrigued by this provocative paradox of human emotion and I cannot thank you enough for sharing your insight into it. I love this piece. It hurts…..but it helps.
