Mont Saint Michel, France (The Marvel) at Sunset by

Mont Saint Michel also known as the marvel is a benedictine abbey on the Cousenon river close to the border with Brittany.

It’s was the inspiritaion for the design of Minas Tirith in the Lord of the rings films.

Saint Michaels mount in Cornwall was a “daughter” abbey.

Nikon D200 & 18-200 VR at 36mm. 1/125 SEC @ F 5.6

Blended with my own texture.

Thanks to everyone who visits & comments on my work

Due to time constraints I’ve decided that I’ll not spend time just saying individual thanks when someone comments on my work. Far better I feel to spend time looking at their portfolio & enjoying & commenting on their work, by way of thanks for visting & commenting on my work.

Of course I’ll say thank you to our hardworking hosts when featured, and sometimes you just have to answer a question, but apart from that I’m in silent mode.

As a child my plane crashed in the Himalayas & I was raised by an advanced civilisation that taught me photography, ESP & precognition, no, wait that was the Champions wasn’t it?

Ah well, 50 & getting more muddled by the day.

Hope you enjoy my work, and feel free to buy anything you like enough. :-)
