so many paths
each one with it’s own twists and turns
and when one path intersects another
i wonder

a respite for the weary
a place to rest your eye
look inward and outward
but choose and go on

one day when i round
a corner
and run into myself
i wonder

will there be enlightenment
or disappointment
time may or may not tell

until then
i will
straighten my shoulders
and put one foot in front of the other

Oh also before I commented I had no idea the title of this was actually “the journey” which is good because i included about it being like a journey in my previous comment, which means this deserves another comment to say well done it translates well as a journey….end transmition

ahh yes. i think this too.
how different would i have been if it was not for a few events in my teenage years..
i seriously hope there are many alternate universes out there.. i know in at least 2 of them id be dead by now lol..
and many more id be a proper human being – work 9-5, go home, watch tv, find a nice girl, settle down, buy a house.. think nothing …etc…
