no air

all tied up
in ribbons of shame
raw edges frayed with age
green eyed raven
plucks out the red
to feather a nest of rage
high in the trees
skies lose their blue
lost in apathy over time
obsidian wishes spiral down
bearing witness of the crime
sad songs won’t be sung
nor guilded teacups flow
numbness clutches at the throat
not knowing where to go
to the heart of the sunrise
a mind floats in space
void of all meaning
impossible to trace
the frailties of being
ineptitude of thought
here in the final days
the battle stands
unfought

    ‘’plucks out the red
to feather a nest of rage’’ I LIKE THIS,I like it all………
    Brilliant…..indeed.
b…what popped in my head next was ….how many times can you let the word ’’BRILLIANT’’ in???
…and a Louise Hay exercise came in and i visioned’’ brilliant ’’ was written in red lipstick at the top on the bathroom mirrow and then you appeared in front of it……
    U ~ b brilliant my friend….
perhaps, are you getting close to producing a book?
