And what a perfect statement THIS is! Just an incredibly meaningful image dear heart and so wonderfully composed. We all do tend to come a bit “unwound” from time to time! Have found that there are ways to stop the fray – at least for a while – lol – but there is something inevitable about it eventually. Love this, dear heart… love you too!
frayed.. i smile looking at this.. frayed does not neccesarily mean it is less stronger.. it could also mean it is getting less complicated..more visible.. getting rid of layers finding the centre and still be part of it All. I love these uploads ;-))
Really nice Butchy….... I like the implications of escape and freedom I see in the image as some other people have mentioned, very simple but thought provoking image!
I love it too and I love the liberating expanse of a background – whatever the rope is saying the open spaces, skies, expanses are enduring and beckoning – like a magic carpet.

Just because the rope is frayed does not mean it’s any less stronger. There is always a fibre right beside to help.
Beautiful sway in the rope, very charismatic… like you.
