Shall I stand and wait
As I slowly change to infinite dust
Become one with the smallest
Become one with the oldest
The closest that I can ever be
As I have been before and will be again
Worlds without end

If I make a stand and also wait
My future is still assured
My dust will still be dust
I will still become one of all
So alone and yet so complete
Leaving everything but losing nothing

I will not rage against that endless darkest hour
But take each tiny moment
See its lustrous beauty
Touch its miraculous warmth
Taste its exotic flavours
Enjoy for an eon every precious instant
And know that each and every one
Makes me complete
