Glove in a Cold Climate

It’s this time of year that you find
There’s something that oft comes to mind
When out in the cold
You’re feeling so bold
And there’s one bit that treats you unkind

The pain in your fingers won’t stop
And pushes you right o’er the top
How can it hurt badly
And driving you madly
When such a small thing you forgot

I’m out without gloves, what a fool
I didn’t remember at all
I left them behind me
All my digits are free
More than ten degrees under what’s cool
