The Gospel According To Tonkin

1.And on the fifthteenth day after New Year
It came to pass that it was the day before
The time of reckoning that had been promised
Which had been delivered on that tablet of finely pressed wood.
2.The word had been sent and it was good
Paul was told to prepare himself for a mighty test
Which was within his understanding
And would make great change for him.
3.The terrible voice of the distant surgeon had spoken
And the words were as manna from heaven
Which would be made manifest on the sixteenth day
When that mysterious healing was to take place.
4.And the people all around were glad and did sing
Praising the terrible and distant surgeon
For the wonder and timeliness of his great works
And the people gave thanks and danced until they slept.
