    Very interesting leaf that Spike is sitting on. I see he’s got a good grip on the leaf.

  • The leaf is the same plant that the ladybird is on the flower of. It grows as a ground cover and has round fruits about the diameter of a 5c piece. And yes those spikes will stick in to you if you happen to step on the plant, they are all down the stems as well. It was pretty windy so it probably was making sure it didn’t blow away :-)
