The Glasswing butterfly is a member of the Nymphalidae family. Its Latin name is Acraea andromacha. When first emerging from its Chrysalis the fore wings are a creamy yellow like the hind wings but the scales are very loosely attached and they soon fall off.
It says to add a short bio, but I’m not short, although I am bio-degradable and have been degrading for some time now.
