Childhood Memories: Flamenco Ballet by

As a child in a somewhat out of the way town, I was fortunate enough to get to have a good cultural education. I got to go to musicals, plays, operas, ballet, etc. My mother wanted me to know there were other types of arts and things in the world other than our blue collar existence. I remember one of the ballets had a flamenco style to it, but I do not remember the name of it. I looked and found one called Flamenco Ballet and another called Carmen, not to be confused with the Opera. It was wonderful. The music, the costumes and the dancing. :o)

Created on my iPad in ArtRage. I then took this into Photoshop. I am still experimenting with some other styles, more to see if there is anything I can incorporate with what I already do. This took about 3 hours to complete.

Wow Bunny!! An amazing piece of techie art. Straight to faves.
Sazzart sees Dali — Yes, although the long, long ‘brush’ strokes to me yell Van Gogh.

  • LOL! I leaned Van Gogh’s methods in school and I have always loved his works. It doesn’t surprise me I fell back into my old habits, trying new things that are really old things. :o) Thank you Red.
