Golden Ratio by Bunny Clarke

Available to buy on…

A few years ago, a friend and coworker gave me a book called Mathematics in Art. After devouring the book, I then read the Golden Ration, The (Fabulous) Fibonacci Numbers and a couple of others. I find it fascinating that math and art coexist on the same plane and many of us do not even realize it. The theory is, in part, the focal point of a subject that makes it more pleasing to the eye. The closer you get to the Golden Ratio, Golden Mean, or Golden Spiral, the more pleasing your art work is. Some people see it naturally without realizing they are actually using this method and others have to work at it. Leonardo da Vinci was one such artist who understood the method both naturally and logically. :o)

I find that in art two and two often equals six!!! To achieve your goal you often need
to alter time, space and nature!!! An excellent creation!!! Bill

  • That is exactly right on altering time. I sit down to start these and I fall into a black hole and come out four hours later wondering where the time went. :o) Thank you Bill.
