Childhood Memories: The Recital by

A hush comes over the audience. Giggles explode from back stage while little feet pad across the stage. The music comes up, the lights are on the stage and the curtain goes up. The recital is on! :o)

Created on my iPad in ArtRage with post work in Photoshop. Total time, about 6 hours. Too many little girls. ;o)

Stunning simulation of light, Bunny – and I know that is a very hard thing to portray!

  • Thank you Christina. You are right, of course. The lighting is sometimes the hardest part. Often, I have to redo them a few times to get them right. I don’t mean one figure, but the whole work. :o)

Magical image, lovely palette! Love the out of focus effect, movement, light shimmering at their feet! Well done!

  • Thank you Angie. I have been developing a painting style that gives one the impression of movement. That is the out of focus part with glimpses of in focus. This one has taken the longest of most of the works in a long time. :o)
