I learned at a very young age that there is nothing in the world that is really free in life. Sounds cynical, doesn’t it? Whenever my mom gets a letter telling her she has won something, my honey always tells her to read the “weasel words.” If you didn’t ask for it or you didn’t enter, you don’t really get it. There’s a catch. Even coupons. I read the weasel words, and sure enough, even on those, there is a catch. When people take me to lunch, the first thing I ask is: do you want me for my company or to pick my brain? Or to buy you lunch? LOL! Yes, I really do that. That’s how I knew I was approaching senior citizen status too. Just be careful out there folks. There is always someone who wants your money or to take something valuable from you. :o)
