When Bart Doetsch and I started out our adventure of scripting for Apophysis software, as a team, the most unbelievable things happened. We have a synergy that allowed us to create, I believe, on a higher and more quality level. I love scripts because they give fractal artists a good starting point to develop their own tweaks from there to create something unique. We add suggestions within the scripts for the artists to let their creativity go beyond the scope of the scripts. There are many who are on the other side of the fence though, who do not believe in scripts. They feel they are too mechanical. I always say, beginners have to start somewhere. I learned, as Bart did, from scratch. Both of us had done programming at one point in our lives so we both had that in common. We will be releasing three new scripts at Deviant Art this weekend. Thank you for watching. :o)

Created in Apophysis 7X with pride.

An exceptionally tremendous creation!!! Joint efforts can really be tricky and require
patience (which I don’t have much of} !!!! Excellent work!!!! Bill

  • I do a good portion of the design work and the PR. That leaves Bart with the grunt work. We are both happy. I sometimes will provide some coding changes if my brain works. :o) Thank you Bill.

Amazing work Bunny, wish I had the patience to learn how to do that!!!

  • Thank you Diane. It took me about 3 years on my own to learn it. I am still amazed how much I learned on my own. :o)

This is FANTASTIC, Bunny!!! And I can’t wait to get a hold of your new scripts! How wonderful! Thank you so much to you and Bart for providing such wonderful Apo resources. If it wasn’t for scripts, It would have taken me a whole lot longer to learn Apo. The scripts are a great place to see how things are made and then you can tweak to your heart’s delight and learn something along the way!

  • That has always been my thought. We have the other side that feel they are a detriment to the art. I will smile and tell them thank you for their input and keep going. :o) Thank you so much Peggi.

Now I see why you do such gorgeous fractals, Bunny! You’re on the developing end.
    Christina

  • LOL! Sort of. I started them to create backgrounds for digital paintings and got hooked. Then I spent 3 years teaching myself how to use it since at that time, there were no tutorials or anyone for me to ask. Thank you Christina. :o)
