Shining City By the Sea by Bunny Clarke

There was a shining city by the sea where everyone was happy. Yeah, we all know the once upon a time stories. We also know about the happily ever afters too. The one where every girl gets her prince. The one where the prince finds out he got a shrew. So what? Life is what we make it. We really do have the power to make our lives better and happier. It takes a lot of courage, but it is worth everything in the life to do. It brings peace and love as well as meaning to life. :o)

Created in UF5 with postwork in Photoshop using the duckytalis formula.

It’s a very beautiful city; no wonder the people were happy. Being happy takes concentration on the things that make us happy. And this is one of them. :-)

  • Yes, I have found that art has made me more in touch with my feelings. It took that great love of my life to put me back in touch with this part of myself. Thank you Beve. :o)

Visually appealing on its own, your narrative adds additional path. Well done.

  • Thank you for stopping by to visit. :o)

OOOOOOOOH!! Oh WOW, that’s amazing! Okay, you’ve done it now, dear! You’ve got me going “she did that in UF?? How the everloving dickens did she do that??” You finally managed to totally astound me, intrigue me, and leave me totally flummoxed! Hope you’re right proud of yourself! (lol!) (did you by any chance use the “intricate toy” mapping??)

  • Wow! I feel really good now. Nope not intricate toy. It was Crazy II. I had a lot of fun with this one. Thank you for making my day Michelle. :o)

I love this as much for the narrative as the image. The image for me perfectly demonstrates the ups and downs of life and yet even the troughs are clothed in life giving water, or so it appears. The peaks reach into an endless cloud free blue sky, fabulous. Fabulous. Alma

  • I’m glad you got my drift. Thank you Alma. I am so glad you stopped for a visit. :o)
