We have all been in situations where we have felt trapped. Maybe it was a situation at work, a family setting, or a setting with friends. You didn’t like what others were doing, but were too embarrassed to leave. Or maybe to fearful. The latter is often the most common fear in abusive relationships. If someone asks, or if you know of someone, always offer the chance to escape or an option of shelter if you can. You never know when you may save a life of someone you love.
