Most people don’t think about it, but I have always thought time was rather fragile. Not to be squandered or ignored… yet we all do. We don’t always take the time to tell others how important they are to us. We don’t always make time to spend with others. I try much harder now to let others know they are important to me. I try to spend time with those I love. I still feel at times I don’t quite make my goal, but I am doing better. :o)
Very well done! And let me guess – you used mjd Pipe mapping in this, didn’t you?? (grin) I’ve used that before, myself, more than once, as I like the effect! And if you didn’t use that, then I can’t imagine what you used, but I like it!
Yes, it was mjd Pipe and Linear Wave. It was really a cool effect. The gradients were the part I had to work on most to make it look like glass. :o)
I once had a collection of time travel stories, mostly about things going horribly wrong, and I have concluded it isn’t possible, as the past is a done deal. And the time given to each of us is our most valuable possession. Love the crystalline quality of this.
I have a slightly different view. I have always felt that time is like water with the ripples going out. Fluid and changing. Small changes can become larger chages later to create larger impact. It is not that we can change time, it is that we cannot see the future very well because of this reason. Oh the discussions we could have. :o)
That would make a beauteous and unique watch! I agree with you, letting others know how important they are to us and spending time with them is one of the most heartwarming and vital experience. :)
