Some of us, as children, tended to be more on the aggressive side. Maybe not so much towards others, but feeling like we had to go out and save others from those mythical beasts… like dragons. Others, may have felt the dragon was a sacred icon, to be revered and honored. Whichever group you belonged to, I found this dragon to be worthy of inclusion in my Carousel series. ;o)
Calendars and tees to come later. This was created from a sketch, painted in Photoshop using my natural media brushes and my impressionistic style. This had 4 layers and took about 4 hours to paint off and on.

I love this series!
Thank you so much Thea. I hope to have enough for two types of calendars. My little daughter-in-law can then pick which one she likes best. :o)

Yikes! It looks absolutely fierce, and abstracted too. Wonderful expressive work. :)
Thank you Josette! Dragons can look pretty fierce. I was going to do him with his wings, but then he looked demonic. So I settled on the head only. :o)

I’ve always been on the side of the dragon (blame Peter Paul and Mary!). My assessment of this one is: magnificent!
LOL! I’m glad. Puff looked fierce, but was very kind and gentle. ;o)

Wow, a dragon! You couldn’t have peeled me off this one! Not even yesterday!
Before you get too excited Syd, this was a sit down bench. I’m still trying to find the sea serpent that goes up and down. I heard maybe Seattle. ;o) I’ll find you one. :o)
