This is from another old sketch with some notes on what colors I thought I should use from that time. This lovely fellow just barely opened his eyes and he looked so cranky. I have been experimenting with some brushes I collected. I’ve mentioned them before in my other works. Natural media brushes from many sources, but mostly David Nagel. I hope you enjoy this break from my fractals for a short bit.

Created from a sketch to simulate Acrylic in Photoshop, multiple layers (about 10 due to texturing), saturation and contrast.

The sketch was done at one of the raptor rescue sites when I still lived in Golden, CO.
