Having been a science fiction buff for many years, there are some books that touched my soul. “I, Robot” by Isaac Asimov, “Faraheit 451” by Ray Bradbury are just a couple of the books that left indelible marks and images. With movies and television, how about “The Next Generation” with Data.
I thought, what if the robots created their own social structure in a fashion? Would they have clubs for socializing or just getting their lube jobs? Or maybe get a shocker as their drugs? Do robots dream? Do they want to be human? Do they really feel? Would they hook up to the information networks for more news and upgrades? From all this wondering, came The Bot Club. Where robots can come to get whatever tickles their circuits. :o)

I tried it once a few months back and found it to be difficult. I am sure it is because I was just fumbling around trying to figure out how everything worked. But, I am amazed at the beautiful images everyone makes with the program. Aexion did an outstanding job when he created the program. :)
Yes he did. Group Incendia has some links for tutorials in their forums. You might go take a look if you have time and try it out. :o)
Wild, Bunny, love this! And I’m sure you understand that I’m a firm believer in robots that feel, regardless of the technical details.
LOL! I hear that. I just cannot believe as we create these “beings” we won’t resist the urge to tinker to give them “feelings” and personalities. We as humans just cannot leave these things alone. The God complex in us. :o) Thank you Syd.

My son brought the movies “Transformers” over last night. This reminds me of them! Amazing that you can create these with your software! Great job Bunny. You have a vivid imagination. :)

Peter K. Dick was another of my favorite authors. I loved his short stories. Who could ever forget this classic, later made into another memorable movie “Blade Runner”? I’m glad you liked this. :o)
