Summertime When the Living is Easy by

My musical and artistic background is eclectic due to being exposed to so many different types. I had the chance of a lifetime. My hometown was out on the plains 4.5 hours from Denver. Much too far for any trip for the arts. Since there was a lot of money in the oil town of Casper, Wyoming, many types of arts were imported in from all over the world. Opera, ballet, circuses, ice skating shows, symphonies, musicals and the list goes on. Sometimes my mom would take me on the weekends and other times, the performers would come to our schools. Porgy and Bess was one of my favorite musicals. I had no idea how special my experience was until I had children of my own and saw how much the tickets were. They didn’t get the same chances I did. I still had all kinds of music in the house and they all liked the Classical pieces. I will always cherish the memories of that time. :o)

Created in UF 5.04 with some post work in Photoshop. This looked like a sunset on a hot day with trees on the banks of a body of water. :o)
