So many people complain nowadays that they cannot communicate with their children, their significant others, or their parents. Just saying hi, bye and I love you isn’t enough. You have to have conversations where you can state your opinion and know the other person is listening, not just hearing you. All of us have been guilty of that a few times. I have found that the texting features of phones help a lot in communication, but are not as good as writing a letter or email. The latter not being as good as a phone call. Going further still, the phone is not as good as face to face conversations. Why, you ask? We have been instilled with reading expressions and body language to help us to see as well as hear what the inflections of emotions of a communication are. Just some food for thought. :o)

Created in Incendia with post work in Photoshop. To me, this image looked like a communication tower somewhere in the universe, waiting for messages to be sent back and forth. :o)

I try to create images that will touch your heart or soul and make them go “twang”. Eye candy for the soul is my goal. :o)

Interesting comment, Bunny. This new technology seems to crowd out the third and fourth dimensions as well as three of the five senses. I just can’t wait until we all have implanted bar codes and micro- communication systems with fools telling us idiots what to think. :-|

  • LOL! What? You don’t think they do that already? I hear what you are saying though Pete. I feel sorry for the people who think they have to have the phone 24/7 either glued to their ear or texting. Thank you my friend. :o)

Amazing work, Bunny – I see an eye of some creature looking at me

  • You are the first to see it. It is like this creature that lives in the water. It provides the power for the antenna. :o) LOL! Thank you Shulie.

Not a fan of communicating through any technology Bunny. I’m with you on this one. Human touch is key:)

  • I couldn’t agree with you more Donna. That’s why its called, the personal touch. "o) Thank you hon.

I really know what your saying here,……The wife and I go out to eat,……Waiting for a table to open up,…..and You see other young families waiting too,…..Each and everyone of them has a phone, texting, talking or playing games,……Easy to see that there is NO! communication in that family,…if you can call that a family,…..
    Love the image,….

  • I see a lot of that too. But I also see it as a good way to keep little ones from becoming too restless if there is a long wait. The same families that do that, then enjoy the dinner as family time. I see technology as a tool, not as a solution. :o) Thank you John.

Awesome Bunny! I’ve seen communication towers in Maryland that they tried to make it look like at tree. Of course, it just looks like a communication tower with leaves on it. I’ll have to get a picture of it someday :)

  • I keep saying the same thing. We have one in our condo community, but it looks pretty ratty now. Too many birds pecking at it to take materials for nests. :o) Thank you James.
