A Buzzing

A Buzzing

A wasp hive attached to an old pier that is used like a totem pole, near New Farm park in Brisbane.

I have used a couple of extra layers of wooden textures to highlight the “brain/head” of the wood.

This picture seems like a metaphor to how my head was feeling at the time…. brain buzzing like its in overdrive from anxiety/stress/tension… yet body like petrified wood due to no motivation and a major depression episode.

The “head” is in dark tones to signify the depression depths and the “body” in black and white to represent the lack of life contained within.

A Buzzing belongs to the following groups:

Abstract Macro Urban Art (eg Grungy), Deep Within, Natural Textures, Queensland and The Urban Environment Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters
