Dinefwr Castle in snow-01 – A snow scene showing the stunning Dinefwr Castle near Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, West Wales taken from the grounds of the beautiful Parc Dinefwr Park. This ancient Welsh castle, once the seat of a great Welsh King (Howell Dda or Howell the Good, in English) is one of the most important in this small nation’s history; both as a unifying force within Wales and as a defence against the powerful English invaders.
Dinefwr Castle stands in the internationally acclaimed Towy Valley, arguably one of Britain’s most beautiful valleys and internationally famous for it’s trout fishing, just outside the Brecon Beacon National Park. This park and castle are not only well known tourist attractions, open to visitors almost all year round, but within very easy walking distance of my home. This ancient park has a reputation for having some of the oldest trees still existing in Wales and has, for all these reasons, become a great inspiration for my work.

My portfolio of work reflects my love of life. From ethnically inspired prints through wild & cultivated plants, people, places, castles, churches and pubs. If you like snow or beads & bangles, tigers, rocks, shadows that persist when the object that cast them is long gone, prints of land art (commissioned by the National Trust-UK to grace their meadows) then, surely, there is something here for you.
